Projection Dome

A 20 foot diameter dome set up as a chill space for the Creatures Art Show with simulated “jellyfish” projections, which continuously move and ripple all over the surface of the dome.

The projection technique uses a laptop connected to a single projector located inside the dome. The projection reflects off a quarter-sphere security mirror thus projecting onto the entire surface of the dome from inside. Many thanks to Paul Bourke, who pioneered and extensively documented this projection method!

The white rip-stop cover is thin enough that the projections can be enjoyed from both inside and outside of the dome.
