Energetic Expressions

So bursting with life… some images just have to move!

These works are based on photos I take on local trails and in my garden.

I develop the effects that animate these images. The animations are continuously shifting and surging, randomly evolving.

I also create interactive versions of these works. I use camera-based motion-tracking technology that detect people and motion in front of the display. For example an image may surge with energy if it detects the movement of somebody passing by.

The videos shown here are each a few seconds recorded from the randomly generated experiences.
